WAS PYTHAGORAS THEOREM DISCOVERED BY PYTHAGORAS ?

Or Is it that it was respectfully stolen from INDIA ? If yes, What should it be called ?

Yes, ancient INDIAN mathematicians discovered Pythagoras theorem 1000 years before Pythagoras was born. Sulba Sutras, composed between 800 and 500 B.C., demonstrate that India had Pythagoras' theor...em before the greeks ever even born. It was an INDIAN monk by name Baudhāyana who discovered and listed Pythagoras theorem in his book called Baudhayana Sulbasutra. Below is the photo of the shloka and translated english form : -

" The diagonal of a rectangle produces by itself both (the areas) produced separately by its two sides ".

It should be called as BAUDHAYANA THEOREM and NOT Pythagoras theorem.
